On this blisteringly cold winters day, I’m taking you back to this beautiful Cotswolds barn wedding I had to absolute pleasure of capturing in July, set at the fabulous Lapstone Barn. If flowers are your thing (and great pics too obv) then this blog post is going to tickle your fancy.
I first met Molly and Matt at Richmond Park for their pre-wedding shoot last November and I loved every minute! They were such a lovely couple and from hearing all about their plans, I knew their Cotswolds barn wedding wasn’t going to disappoint. When I arrived at Lapstone Barn, I was greeted with the oh so friendly face that is Fi at Corky and Prince (she did our wedding flowers too!!) and she was a busy bee creating the flower bombs for the main barn… more on that in a bit…
With the tearful exchange of gifts between Molly and her best girls in the morning, the boys soon arrived in Matts’ Defender which was used to display the welcome sign for the day… what a great idea!
Molly and Matt held their ceremony in the main barn which was adorned with gorgeous meadows along with the flower bombs which were suspended from the ceiling, and it certainly gave the wow factor. A modern take on a classic colour palette, you can’t go wrong! This style is always great to opt for, a timeless vibe will never age in your photos in years and years to come!
