A Romantic London Wedding at Pitzhanger Gallery and The Hoxton: Pastel Florals, String Trio, and a Touch of Family Love
When I arrived at the fabulous Pitzhanger Gallery, I knew this London wedding would be something special. The grandeur of this historic gallery was softened by delicate pastel florals adorning the space, creating a romantic and serene atmosphere. A string trio played softly in the background, filling the gallery with timeless melodies as guests gathered to witness this heartfelt celebration.
One of the most beautiful moments of the day was watching the couple’s young daughter take a central role in the ceremony. The joy on her parents’ faces as she joined them during their vows made it a truly unforgettable, emotional highlight.
After the ceremony, guests stepped outside, where a classic red London bus awaited to whisk everyone to the Hoxton in Shepherds Bush for the reception. The joyful energy was palpable as everyone climbed aboard with a glass of bubbles, the scenic ride through London’s streets adding to the magic of the day.
At the Hoxton, the vibe shifted into a more relaxed, intimate celebration. The stylish setting provided the perfect backdrop for the couple’s modern, laid-back style. Cocktails flowed freely as laughter echoed through the venue. The day was very much family-led, and everyone embracing the spirit of togetherness. It felt like a joyful, extended family gathering rather than a traditional wedding, which made it all the more unique.
Capturing these moments—both grand and intimate—was an absolute pleasure. From the delicate details of the pastel florals to the candid shots of the bride, groom, and their daughter, every moment told the story of a couple who truly cherished each other and their family. The combination of historic London charm and a contemporary, relaxed celebration created a day that was a perfect reflection of them.
I feel so lucky to have been part of this wedding and to have captured such an authentic love story. If you’re planning a London wedding and want your day captured in all its beautiful, personal moments, I’d love to be there to photograph every detail.
