A Perfect Spring Wedding at Oxleaze Barn: Pastel Tones, Wildflowers, and Golden Hour Fun

This spring, I had the pleasure of photographing a stunning wedding at Oxleaze Barn, nestled in the heart of the Oxfordshire countryside near Lechlade. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that this wedding was going to be something truly special. With its rustic charm and picturesque surroundings, Oxleaze Barn provided the perfect backdrop for a day filled with love, laughter, and style.

The couple had thought of every detail, and it all began with an incredibly personal touch. As guests arrived, they were greeted by personalised wedding newspapers, filled with fun facts about the couple, their love story, and a sneak peek into their wedding day plans. It was such a unique way to connect everyone, ensuring that by the time the ceremony began, guests already felt like they knew the couple even better.

The ceremony itself was nothing short of magical. Oxleaze Barn was styled to perfection, with pastel tones and an abundance of wildflowers giving the space a natural, fresh, and romantic atmosphere. The flowers were truly a standout feature, adding a sense of wild, whimsical beauty to the day.

After the ceremony, guests spilled out onto the lawn for cocktails under the spring sunshine. The mood was light, the air was filled with excitement, and it was the perfect time for me to capture some beautiful candid moments. Fashion-forward guests dressed to impress, adding a chic, modern vibe to the rustic elegance of the barn. It was a pleasure to capture the effortless style of the day.

As the afternoon flowed into evening, the reception kicked off with fantastic speeches that had everyone laughing, crying, and cheering. The laughter was infectious, and it was clear how much love and support surrounded the couple.

When Tux Fizz took the stage, the energy went up another notch. This band knows how to get a crowd going! And I should know… they were our band back in 2022! Guests enjoyed a mix of live music and fun on the terrace, where a lively game of beer pong broke out just in time for golden hour. With the sun setting over the Oxfordshire countryside, it was a magical moment. The warm light, relaxed atmosphere, and playful energy made for some of my favourite shots of the day.

From the stunning floral design to the fun and fashion, this wedding was the perfect blend of elegance and personality. It was clear that every element of the day was chosen with care and love, making it truly unique to the couple.
